does anyone know any good places in the co.armagh area lurgan or portadown to see barn owls & sparrowhawks as id love to get some good photos of them.i know 30 years ago waringstown was a great spot for them,i once came across a sparrowhawks plucking post which was an old tree stump.o:Do:Do:D

Sorry only seeing this now. I see sparrowhawks regularly at home. We also have buzzards, kestrels and merlins. Last year there was barn owls seen but only on 2 occasions I am aware of and none since or in the yrs prior to that. Last winter we had Hen Harriers none this year but early yet.
The address is derrycrow rd derrytrasna. BT66 6PT. Check my website lartamax labradors which has a google map giving directions.
Hope this helps.
John.
