Argentina - help! (1 Viewer)

I am hoping someone might be able to give me some recent information on Argentina, please:

1. Do you know of any good sites around Mendoza for Steinbach's Canastero (Asthenes steinbachi)? Wheatley mentions a site near Potrerillos, but I don't know if this is still good, or of there are any better sites

2. Are there any reliable sites for Pampas Meadowlark (Sturnella defilippi) relatively near to either Buenos Aires or San Clemente?

Any information very gratefully received.

Thanks.

I arrived today from Tucuman province and have seen Steinbach's Canastero on a route from Tafi del Valle to Amaicha del Valle. This was a lifer for me. I haven't been to Mendoza for birdwatching.

For the Pampas Meadowlark I know only one place: From the city of Bahia Blanca (700 km south of Buenos Aires) taking the national route 35 about 40 km away of the city. This route goes northwest of Bahia Blanca.
