I guess this is south of Loja and I don't really find any information on the place but someone mentioned it. Can you stay there or is it just day birding? How to contact them, how to get there say from Vilcabamba? Any help appreciated.

Not sure where you were looking, but I simply googled "Ecuador Casa Simpson" and all kinds of sites came up, mostly related to birding and birding tours.
