A Week Available - Where to go? (1 Viewer)

My wife and I are thinking of spending a week in Taiwan, around the second week of March, birding as well as touring. Are there nice mountain lodges good for hiking and nature study? Good marshes for palearctic waders, near to lodging facilities in smallish towns? I don't need to see all the birds, and don't want to spend the whole time traveling.

I've never been to China, and a short trip to Malaysia is my whole experience in the far east.

Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff, Taiwan has quite a few mountain lodges. There are some wetlands pretty close to lodging facilities. Send me a pm if you need info.
