Hi all
1. I am planning 3 x3 day trips to Brazil 28-31st July (including the stunning Critically endangered Cherry-throated Tanager), 4-7th August and 11-14th of August (including the Critically endangered Blue-eared Ground-Dove). They will be intensive birding trips to try and see these and as many other targets as possible. I am looking for other like-minded people (1-3) to join and share costs preferably sharing rooms (but not essential). There would be the potential for other birding in between.
Tour 1:
July 28th 2022 - fly from Belo Horizonte to Vitoria. Pick up and transfer to Linhares.
July 29th 2022 - Vargem Alta (Cherry-throated Tanager place). Rest of the day birding the area.
July 30th 2022 - if we get the tanager full day birding Linhares area
July 31st 2022 - depend on flight time back to Belo Horizonte, morning birding Vargem Alta area.
Tour 2:
August 4th 2022 - afternoon depart from Belo Horizonte to Pompeu. Overnight Pompeu.
August 5th 2022 - full day birding Pompeu area. Overnight Pompeu.
August 6th 2022 - Early morning departure to Serra do Cipo. Afternoon exploring Serra do Cipo area. Overnight Serra do Cipo.
August 7th 2022 - Morning and afternoon exploring Serra do Cipo. Late afternoon/ early evening drive to Belo Horizonte.
Tour 3:
August 11th 2022: flight from Belo Horizonte / Montes Claros. Overnight Montes Claros.
August 12th 2022: Montes Claros / afternoon drive to Botumirim (Blue-eyed Ground Dove's place). Overnight Botumirim.
August 13th 2022: full day exploring Botumirim area. Overnight Botumirim.
August 14th 2022: Morning exploring Botumirim area. Afternoon drive to Montes Claros. Flight from Montes Claros to Belo Horizonte.
