10x42L rubber eyecups replacement? (1 Viewer)

Love the quality view through these bins, stabilization etc. but one thing prevents me from being happy with them. The eyecups are just bad for someone with narrow ipd. Are there any alternatives? My idea is to get rid of both the rubber eyecup cover and the plastic ring and to replace them with old school rubber eyecups. Any ideas folks?
