Crossbills in the Angus Glens.
Well, there you go, I hadn't noticed this area before, glad I've found it now. I've been walking at the reservoir as often as possible and one of my goals has been to view and photograph the Crossbills up there, sometimes I see them, sometimes I don't :( but, I've been putting together a photo... -

Almost at the end of my reservoir walk, I stopped to photograph some Bullfinches on heather when more walkers arrived and scared them away but, I looked up and these guys weren't bothered at all. Nice end to the year, photographically speaking. Happy New Year to everyone.- Scozmos

The Glaikit Raven
This bird was calling loudly and staring down at the ground below and as I approached, flew towards me, over my head and back ....... twice! Raven? Huge beak and really gruff call, anyone seen this behaviour before?- Scozmos
