    Almost at the end of my reservoir walk, I stopped to photograph some Bullfinches on heather when more walkers arrived and scared them away but, I looked up and these guys weren't bothered at all. Nice end to the year, photographically speaking. Happy New Year to everyone.

    This bird was calling loudly and staring down at the ground below and as I approached, flew towards me, over my head and back ....... twice! Raven? Huge beak and really gruff call, anyone seen this behaviour before?
