    I was just up the coast at Leasowe gunsite for high tide yesterday morning when a Little Egret came in off the Sea. From the direction of travel it had come from the Formby area. CB

    I must have just missed you. I was on the prom just outside Janes house at "high" tide. My first scan located only 35-40 birds then I recounted the whole beach and got a min of 200 birds. The birds were moving aorund a lot due to disturbance. Also had 2 Gannets offshore. CB

    Sometimes they move further north and sit off Leasowe Lighthouse. About 10 mins walk north from Dove Point. CB

    Had a small grebe (almost certainly a Slavonian Grebe) go west just before high tide tide and flew into the Dee Estuary. Later relocated it with another bird before they both flew off towards Hilbre. CB

    Apparently it was seen by three of the seaforth regulars according to what I was told. There was a good selectio of seabirds to be had but it was hard work at any point along the coast. Leasowe seemed to have the most birds from my experience of the day. CB
