    Two redwing up above slowly drifted left and then right over my garden this morning, in that sort of fluttery-not-really-going-anywhere way that they often do, and for the first time I heard a bit of a short song from them that they repeated. I was surprised at how Swallow-like the song was!

    In Peterhead I had groups of redwings and fieldfares constantly passing westward overhead too. Mainly Fieldfare actually.

    Hi Alan, I wasn't aware of that, I'll check it out, but I have been adding my mammal sightings to birdtrack. Should I also add to the NESBRec? Or if only one site, which one is best? I actually reported the badger sett to scottishbadgers.org.
