    Hypocolius, You'd be surprised. Sure, Vietnam has a lot of species but, due to heavy hunting, it is actually pretty hard to see birds outside the National Parks. I have yet to see a massing of birds such as in Khor Dubai: thousands and thousands of birds with the Dubay skyline as background.

    I worked in Dubai a few years back and well remember the Wimpey Pits and some other amazing birding around the UAE. How sad to hear that everything is ploughed under in the name of development:-(
