    i was there July 29 this year and was a bit late for the young puffins. only saw a couple of adults walking allong the paths and still feeding in burrows on the land. the sea was full of them. had an amazing view of a short eared owl quartering the field near the accomodation block for...

    Can anyone tell me the best time to visit Skomer please to see young puffin emerging, although I realise there is no guarantee of this any time? cheers dave
