    The problem will not just be damage to the verges... stone curlews are very easily disturbed and if there is a nesting pair at the site where people are stopping they could well be disturbed. If it is known that there is a pair nesting on this site (I noticed a group of birders there last week)...

    great read warbler was there again at 4:28, I think I'll head over there tomorrow and have a look for it.

    As I understand it the bird was originally put out as a sub-alpine warbler and it was only when better views were had that it was re-ID'd as spectacled. I was on my home from work when news broke, so I headed straight down there. I had three flight views before I finally got to see it perched...

    RBA are reporting a male white-spot bluethroat at Minsmere this afternoon - seen between south hide and the sliuce... getting common now ;)

    I know a couple of sites in the Thetford area - Ollie's Farm, just off the A11 outside Thetford is a good spot. Another good place to look is the forest track a couple of hundred yards east of Weeting NWT reserve (though I've not visited other yet this year).
