    I caught up with it at Island Mere this evening. It's a nice bird. After a while I could pick it out without bins. It looks slightly larger than the other Swallows and has a different flight as it glides a lot more. It stayed until dusk so should be around early tomorrow at least. Terrible...

    On the original the birds were just specks and the image has been blown up 14x - hence the poor quality. I actually think the GSW was feeding on the shrikes 'larder' and surprisingly the shrike just watched and did nothing.
