    I saw & photographed the beans on Monday, The bulkier bodies & longer necks weren't always easy to detect while feeding, but more obvious when alert, I thought the size difference was very noticeable in flight.     If anyone is thinking of going for the Marsh Warbler I would recommend an early morning visit, it has shown very well the last 3 mornings, even in the dodgy weather this morning. However it tends to be elusive in the afternoons & evenings.

    One LRP this morning & 3 this afternoon on a large shallow muddy edged puddle along Blackhouse Lane in Great Cornard, near to the Country Park entrance where they are building the new Rugby Club. Also single House Martin & Barn Swallow there this morning aswell.

    I was lucky enough to find a Cattle Egret Monday afternoon. It is still present this morning favouring either the horse field just ESE of Bures at approx. TL930341. viewing is from the crossroads just north of Smallbridge Hall / Farm or from the road towards Assington from the crossroads...

    This is a very good spot for Buzzards, I had at least a dozen from here one day back in mid March plus a couple at Thorington Street Reservoir & at least another half dozen along the river Brett Valley. There was a Black Tern at Thorington Street Res early morning on the 16th May & 3 Hobbies...
