    nice walk round landguard mid morning highlights were a pied flycatcher on the wire in front of the obs, a couple of wheatears and a whinchat on the common and a lovely adult med gull in winter plumage, also loads of linnets,gold and greenfinches and a very impressive flock of starlings!

    nice hour at cattawade this evening one whimbrel a green sandpiper and a couple of greenshank on the river and 2 yellow wagtails on the flash next to the red barn but the highlight was barn owl hunting along the sea defence wall right in front of me and a cracking sunset cheers
