    I didn't post the location on here because the 'moral majority' tend to get all twitchy, even about sites such as this that are well known and written about all over the 'net... There was an RSPB officer carrying out a check on tags: if you see any tagged birds, she'd like to hear about it...

    Stone Curlews At their traditional assembly area today, there were 80+ birds, including a number of juveniles! Also, several Whinchat and a Red Deer stag. Great stuff...

    Good day in the Brecks Despite an unpromising start with the weather, myself and two friends enjoyed a productive day in the Brecks: our tally included Tree Sparrow (30+) Crossbill, Goshawk and Woodlark.

    Kingfishers I'm meeting an old friend from Brighton at Woodbridge next week: he is desperate to see a Kingfisher! I know reliable spots in Norfolk, but none in Suffolk... Can anyone help? Is Melton a good bet? Or Orford? Thanks in anticipation!
