As Jonny has mentioned it is walkable along the coast from Aldeburgh to Minsmere with a lot of areas to check out. En route you pass North Warren between Aldeburgh and Thorpeness. Not the best time of year for the site but potential waders about and maybe a late Hobby. At Thorpeness it is best... -

Was at Dunwich y'day, breach in beach excluded access further up the towards Walberswick with flooding on Dingle Marsh and lots and lots of gulls present presumably feeding on worms from waterlogged soil etc. Did see a Med Gull but not luck with an Ivory, though other highlights... -

Nice to get good views of Bittern and Garganey. I have to say the old hide was pretty uncomfortable to use if in there to long especially when using a scope! Gi
