Dropped into Lakenheath today for a quick pitstop on the way up to Norfolk. Very nice drake garganey on the washes showing well with shovelers, tuftys and gadwall. Reed buntings flitting around and caught sight of a bearded tit too. No sign of the cranes but they are usually down the far end... -

Hi, saw the G Grey Shrike at Lakenheath yesterday around 2.30ish - along the new path from the car park that turns right and goes through the reed bed - it was in bushes near the bank that goes along the river. I was lucky and saw it within 10 mins and got a couple of snaps to show the warden... -
