    First time I visited recently, and was a bit confused at the main entrance. Both gates were locked on the inner of the car park, and as there were only 2 other cars there, with lots of people fishing, didnt know if we were locked out from the flashes or not. What do we do, scale the gates? thanks

    Very misty this morning, and by lunchtime looked as though it was settled in for the day. A much overlooked, and in my opinion one of Britains best birds, G Heron.

    don't we need to feed squirrels too? I put extra out in my garden for the 2 squirrels that live around me, as well as the sparrows, tits, blackbirds and pigeons etc.

    Redpoll on the north moors this lunchtime. Poor photo, but the only one I managed to get.
