    Sorry Lawts but of those only Purple Hairstreak and SW Fritillary occur in Cornwall and those mostly in the East. If you're coming down from Wetherby perhaps best to stop somewhere en route, maybe get sites for Devon or Gloucestershire.

    Some extras after you left included: 2 Sabs 4 Common Scoter 2 Storm Petrel 2 Great Shears, one of them only 2/3 way out to rocks! A few more Sooty and skuas but not sure how many were after you left

    SSE far from a problem at Porthgwarra, it's the ideal direction to bring birds inshore as that's the direction you are facing. However it's no use if the birds aren't out there in the first place and perhaps what Steve was saying is there's not a good SW first to bring them into the Channel...
