    Red Kite again today, over Honeycombe Wood on the outskirts of Sherborne. There were reports elsewhere of there being 5 of them over the Boyshill area near Sherborne at the weekend.

    Red Kite over my house (SW of Sherborne) twice today, once shortly before midday and then again in mid afternoon. Second time it was not much above house height, but gone too quickly to grab camera! One day.....;)

    No sign of it this afternoon, but it was very blustery. Saw two individuals, possibly guillemots, that I now realise were two of the many contaminated with a waxy/gluey like substance being reported along the Chesil area today. Will post photos later. Pics very zoomed and cropped, so not...

    Coincidence or what? Took the car for a brief run after three days of it sitting on the drive, only went about two miles, but managed to see 'our' Red Kite! Bottom of Dancing Hill in Sherborne.

    Might have a drive round the area tomorrow, you never know! Also hoping to get to West Bexington before the Snow Bunting moves on. I've had a couple of abortive attempts before Christmas, but the weather has been against me since.

    Please can you point out to them that there are still LOADSA berries over here in West Dorset, including cotoneaster ones in my garden! I'm more interested in them than the possibility of snow.....;)

    Red Kite over the coast near Abbotsbury early this afternoon and then a Spawk visited my garden later on and obliged by posing for a few photos!
