    Black-winged Stilt There were two birds at 1pm at Cottam and were then seen to fly towards the Trent. There's been no further sign, but they're being looked for. Complicated by the restricted access at this site. Hopefully they will be relocated in an unequivocally public area.(andy hall)

    friday 30th one reported along Lambley Dumble between Catfoot Lane and Spring Lane yesterday so still in area....pit top also worth coverage still!

    Been back today sun shining,great light, commons were up but no RLB.... can say with certainty now THIS BIRD HAS NOW DEPARTED!! Great whilst it lasted......:smoke:

    Went and looked for it y/day 24th did not see it but the wind was blowing hard and threatening to rain....i spoke to someone that was there who said he seen a buzzard species hovering but when we walked over to see there was nothing there!! possible perched somewhere....im with you knotsbirder...

    there were no smew anywhere at holme pierrpont on sunday - to much activity - altho did find a female at colwick on west lake... they commute? didnt get around the main lake so could of been more? report at brierley i saw reported 3 S.E.O - surely still about?
