    Purple Sandpiper still present at Kilvington on the West Lake yesterday evening between 1700-1800. Associating with 2 Little Ringed Plover which had just arrived that afternoon apparently. Cracking bird!

    Hi Sam, I saw the Bittern last Sunday on what I assume is Dragonfly Pond. If you walk from the visitor centre across the bridge towards the river, it's the tiny pool on the left of the main track before you reach Wheatear field just beyond the viewing screen. Cheers Steve T

    Just got back from seeing the Rough-legged Buzzard. Got some absolutely stunning views as it flew round us hunting over the Pit Top. It got mobbed by a Kestrel at one point. I parked on Spring Lane, and walked round the metal gate and onto the pit from the short footpath beyond the gate. Got...
