    6+ Swifts at Kingsmill Res yesterday evening, plus the first Whitethroat back and now 2 singing Sedge Warblers. A very worn 2cy Kittiwake also ddropped in just before dusk and presumably roosted.

    I've been to Budby twice since mid Feb and only very briefly heard a single bird on both occasions. Numbers seem to have dwindled in the last few years - there were much fewer last year then the years before. No Stonechats either. Mike
