    So the Bearded Tits didn't want to come out to play. Tried at the Kingoodie end as well as the Port Allen area. Looks like i'll just have to spend more time in the area.

    I would like to see some Bearded Tits, and i know the reed beds at Errol are a good place to look. Has anyone had any luck spotting them in the reed beds area just up river from Kingoodie, where the burn from Monorgan joins the Tay?

    It's prime osprey territory with about 6 lochs in a few square miles, plus lots of forestry. They have nested in the past just a couple of miles away at Piper Dam.

    As the birds were tumbling, i think there was a flash of grey, so that was why i thought 'osprey'. I've often seen ospreys in that area. A lone common buzzard was soaring at the same time, but well apart. The flight seemed very different.

    Funny you should mention the Lairds Loch, as i was there last weekend with my daughter. We saw a pair of birds displaying strange behaviour, but they were too far away for me to identify. I'm pretty sure they were raptors, but i'm not experienced enough to identify them, though my first thought...

    Looking from the nature park, my 2 'maybes' seemed to be circling over an area between the park and Ninewells. The wings seemed to be broader than a buzzard, but too far away to see any white tail. I've just started going to the nature park, and it has a good variety of habitats. Great to hear...

    @Stonefaction I saw one from my Dundee garden a few weeks after the first Fife release. Never thought that could ever happen! I possibly saw your pair on Wednesday too, down at Riverside. Too far away to be sure though.
