Modbury Crane Today
Crane showing at field on the Modbury road was there as bird flew in this morning went to feed on stubble field on the right as you head for modbury. Crane flew of at 10.30 did not come back left at 11.30 pics taken at long range.

Yes Roy I have them at two locations near to me at one of them I got close to a single bird feeding this is the first time that i have done this,usually they are miles away on the Lynher.I hide in a old boat that is a wreck on the mud flats and the bird did not know I was there.:-O
Hi Roy had a few health probs not been out this is the second trip out since going to Dawlish for the Semipalmated did have a week on Menorca that was a good warm up for the winter.

Red-Eyed Viro
Spent most of the day at Wembury but no sighting of the Viro,but did have a Dartford warbler,Yellow Wagtail,Winchat,Merlin and a juv Peregrine.

Had good views of three this morning got on site at first light was watching two and had one call from behind that made three.Got to see the three on two more sightings a chap next to me got to see them as well.

Spent morning around Dartmoor Saw Grn Woodpeckers,Nuthatch,Goldfinch,Siskin.Coal Tit ,Gr Tit ,Blue Tit,jay,Raven,Buzzard,Brambling,Goldcrest,Goosander, Redwing and a pair of Bullfinches.
