I don't think Gos is referring to the Hoopoe comment, more that Parttimer has posted a site for a much persecuted Schedule 1 species. It may be that this particular site is well known, but as with the Dartfords mentioned recently the only responsible policy is to not post this sort of...

High tide at the Warren tomorrow is 3.9m at 16.45. Waders and wildfowl should be visible from the hide anytime from 2pm, but will probably not be close until 4pm at least. Any tide over 3.5m tends to force birds onto the Warren to roost but recent changes in sandbars off Exmouth have altered...

Hi Odonate, The last two nights I have noticed heavier than usual nocturnal thrush movements over Newton. These have also included a fair proportion of Song Thrush (and the occasional Blackbird) Like you I estimated around 25-30% of calls to be Song Thrush. This is far higher than normal...

Back in late November this appeared... ...raised a hopeful eyebrow at the time - following Monday's Rough legged sighting has anyone visited Bursdon lately? Any buzzards coming into roost? (there doesn't appear to be a 'grasping at straws' smilie) ;)
