    v interesting David do most of the passing birds rest on the rig itself,or do the majority fly by. I would have thought particularly the small stuff (chafinch!), must stop for a breather. I have a mate who worked on gas rigs years ago and he told me ripping yarns about exhausted gulls sometimes...
