i was using an ultra wide lense(sigma 10-20) its great you point the camera straight ahead and the lense picks up every thing from right in front your feet to high up in the sky -

hopefully the birds will ignore them although im sure some species wont,the michelin factory in dundee has two turbines and the herons feeding nearby ignore them,but they are already used to a buit up enviroment,not sure about the breeding waders in the factory ground ,ill have to look into that... -
