    Bluetit nest box predation

    I dont think that nailing anything to the post was a good idea - disturbance could cause the nest to be abandoned. A possible culprit could have been a grass snake, but unlikely in an urban environment. Just likely the eggs have been covered during the cooler temperatures. Puzzling.
