    Brief review of Meopta Meostar B1+ 8x42. (in comparison with Zeiss Victory SFL 8x40

    My recollection of my Meostar was of superb central sharpness. But there has been a few threads on here of Meoptas varying quality control. If I had to buy again, I would go Meopta over Conquest probably. I rate them both highly.

    You may have possibly had a bad copy.... my Meostar was better than my Conquest. Or I may have had a bad Conquest copy, but I was always very impressed with it.
