    One opinion of many: 1) all 3 great, but slightly different. Look at specs (FOV, ER, Weight/size) and pick your priorities. I believe Leica are the best build and image color/rendition, SF best FOV, EDG excellent all around. 2) The SFL's are superb and have almost too much ER. I don't have...

    For me, the photo of 8x40 next to 8x42 says it all. The SFL are not perfect, but in terms of overall package - including weight and size - the are incredibly good.
