    I think there's a movement sensor, I've seen it home in on a spider! It has a routine but probably also picks up waving branches, falling snow lumps etc. John

    Roe Deer at the feeders today is the fourth mammal species: Great and Crested Tits plus Great Spotted Woodpecker also showing well. John

    Had a look after dark and an Apodemus mouse was under the feeders. Three mammal spp seen in the feeders area now! John

    Having a great Christmas morning at the feeder, so far Great, Blue, Coal, Crested and Northern Long-tailed Tits and a bonus Red Squirrel in the background! John

    I don't rate the software that is claiming stuff, I assume on call. IMHO it is failing to identify all Coal Tit calls correctly and that is why it keeps claiming Treecreeper and Goldcrest. Cheers John

    Finally caught up with the repeatedly claimed by the website Great Spotted Woodpecker today (four tit species but still no Willow) and Bank Vole popping out of a snowhole to take dropped seeds. John

    After four days of trying, I finally saw some birds: 2-3 very vocal Crested Tits, one each of Blue, Great and Coal Tit. Smart! John
