    This is a good shot....'sharpness' is not everything. Content is...impact is. Keep that in mind. Given the weather and your settings....not much you can 'will' upon the camera to make it do more than what you can do. How cropped is this by the way? That also makes a difference.... Jim

    Get something waterproof....the tropics are rainy but also humid. Not good for some cameras. Try an waterproof Olympus OM 5 Mark 111....waterproof and relatively cheap and you can use it for other things than just birding. I haven't tried but 100-300 or whatever their zoom range is would be...
