    A couple of Scythebill problems

    I am not sure what you mean by that; why not use Enter Sightings? you can initially have a location that just is the country and if adding for a longer period of time, use the ebird trick and use 1/1/1900 as the year. Once you have your initial list you might get interested in trying more...
