    Habicht for birdwatching?

Great news, good to see you got them back. About the fogging. It helps -for me- if you put the rubber on the eye pieces back and put the oculairs just under the eyebrows, some air will take care of the fogging. Ofcourse this depends your facial structure. And for me it only helps in the summer.

    Habicht for birdwatching?

Well, I wouldn’t say superior because the Habicht 7 has higher transmission and it is a Porro and has the oldest design still manufactured. I will get myself one this year, probably in GA again.

    Habicht for birdwatching?

Took my Habicht 10x40 today with me on a two hour walk in the Dutch countryside. Mainly long distance watching. No complaints but the focus is somewhat stiff, i guess not suitable for people with arthritis. View is very bright and sharp. For me the ergonomics are good. Lightweight 10x40 build to...

    Habicht for birdwatching?

And now that i think about it, i also took my Habicht 8x30 GA with me to Nepal an used it as my main binocular. The main use was not birding but the little Habicht was also very usable for everything after 50 m or so. I think usability of binoculars in general depends very much of the kind of...

I used my Habicht 10x40 GA with great pleasure as a rather lightweight birding binocular on hikes in Crete to watch raptors and vultures.
