    Ah, yeah didn't read your first post careful enough. Honestly, wouldn't bother traveling too far then. Any of the eBird hotspots around Zurich should be fine. For sure, the various lake areas generally give better photo opportunities than the forests. There's also some places really close to...

    I think so, it is just the visitors center that is closed. Even closer to Zurich, there's the Katzensee .... https://ebird.org/hotspot/L1458578 which is for sure easily reachable with public transport and accessible. No sure whether there are birds that interest you though.
