    Blue Winged Teal and Shoveler? 9/18/2023. Craven County, North Carolina

    All teals. Shovelers have a wider bill, though it's surprisingly easy to lose one's confidence in judging this. Also, female shovelers have an orange bill, and male shovelers have different plumage. Also also, shovelers are bigger than teals.
