EXCELLENT! GREAT binocular. Though being under appreciated here lately, the MHG 8X42 is still a strong birding binocular choice. -

Everyone once in a while! LOL The funny thing is...and eye-opening.... I DO grab a binocular I haven't used in a while and go birding. Only lately I grabbed the Meopta B.1 7X42. It's really an excellent binocular and easy to see why I can't turn loose of it. It really does everything well... -

One thing about the Nikonusa store....you have to check with them from time to time. Sometimes they have some refurbs that are in as new condition at about half price. -

That's the way it aways is for me! It's usually partly my fault because I procrastinate a little bit then see the promise and saving grace of "2-day delivery" or "next day delivery." It works about half the time. LOL -

Sadly, I think it's a sign of the times. I've paid extra many times to get things "when I want them." Next day, 2 day, 3 days, etc, etc. This with USPS, FedEx, and UPS. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes I get things in 2 days with a "5-7 day" delivery. So It happens to me...
