Your English is fine Viraj, I misunderstood, I got you now 🙏🏼. That 3D effect that people talk about in porros is much more apparent in the older vintage wide angle binos, something to do with barrel separation. There are quite a few discussions on the topic. Paul

Certainly even the best 10x32 is not going to be very good in low light conditions. I’m not sure why you expected the 10x40 Habicht to much brighter , or even as bright as 8x42NL. Exit pupal alone in two of the highest quality optics would dictate the 8x42 to have the advantage. The 3D effect in...

I’d change things around a bit and get rid of two of them.🤪✌🏼. I’d start with an 8x32 NL , 10x42 SLC, and the 12x50 EL, done. That covers just about all the bases, it also leaves you with an opening for two Binoculars which could be something like a nice Porro or some other unique niche or...

Interesting 🤔. I don’t have the 10x50, and don’t remember how I adjusted it when I had tried them. i wonder if it could have something to do with collimation , or possibly some misalignment with the eyepieces. I had something like this happen with a Nikon 8x32SE, had very uncomfortable kidney...

Oh you got it bad brother, welcome to the group. Hello my name is Paul, I’m a binocularholic 😆. NL’s do melt in your hands , but I’m not sure if they really have anything over the EL50 , which really feel good in the hands. I think all the Swaros feel great in the hands. I’m with you with the...

Yes , typo. Don’t use 10x to much. I like them but I always seem to gravitate more towards 8x , and lately 7x. I agree, the ergos and focuser on both the 32 and 42 NL’s are as good as it gets in my opinion. The SF’ and the EL’s are all excellent as well. I have no issues with any concerning the...

Thank you Reinier. The 12x50 gets the least use. The 8.5 gets the most use, with the 8x32 a close second. The 8x32 EL it’s probably my favorite 8 x 32 of all. It use to be the Leica 8x32 UV , the SF although excellent was used the least of my 32’s. I still love the Leica but this EL checks all...

    EL 12x50, 8.5x42, 8x32, NL 10x42, Habicht’s 7x42 and 8x30.

Yeah, I gst that. In some cases maybe trying to reinvent the wheel. It does seem to work on some , like the 32 and 42 NL‘s and SF’s, no so much on some others. Feels good on the SFL 40 as well, but forget about on the 30, does not feel right to me.

Nope, that was all nonsense. Seems to me a lot of the people complaining about that had no issues with other binoculars with mono bridge and have to hold the bins the exact same way.

At least the focuser on the Swaro is in the right place 😜

I understand exactly what you mean, it’s not a huge jump where it pops out at you. Take the 8x32 EL and NL for example theres 0.5° Difference in FOV, it really isn’t visually that much of a difference. We’re talking about 26 feet at a 1000 yards, at 75 yards it’s barely noticeable. Don’t...

Terra and Trinovid are not in the same class as Swarovski, apples and oranges. But I get the edge to edge sharpness , if we’re talking EL and NL. 🙏🏼

A very nice year to say the least. Good taste In glass! Don’t try Leica’s 😳. Paul

Love those orange NL’s , and especially in 8x👍. You really should be ashamed of yourself, a man of your means and there’s no 10x42 on that table 🤣. Btw, nice photos. Paul
