    Advice for first spotting scope (+ tripod)

    Don't forget to check out the Opticron MM3 and 4, my first was an MM3 and it was quite all right and light (and I moved on to a Swaro ATC after a year, so beware!). Carbon tripod and fluid head absolutely but check height and weight. Also, check out Sirui for tripods. Best of luck!
