    Gotcha, I'm pretty sure it's the same stuff, just not as heavily coated as your zeiss. I misspoke with the word sealed, what I meant was everything inside the box was fashioned in a brand new way, nothing looked like it had ever been opened/used. The fine powder is already practically gone...

    Interesting, packaging was all sealed as if new, bought on Amazon. I've read on here before of others having same thing substance. Everything seems brand new.

    Oh good eye! Gulfmaster gwn-100b. Love it, I've beat it up a little though.

    My 7x dreams are basically fulfilled. Got these today and put them to use immediately. Can still see that new preservative powdery substance on them.

    Today used- Eagle Optics SRT 8x32, to observe male and female Eastern Bluebirds around the nest box, awaiting young to fledge.
