    I have finaly upgraded my Bernina with the NL Pure. Now able to compare the Hartmann with one of the best binos on market, i am still impressed how great the Bernina 7x42 is for a 60 years old binocular. But the opportunity to use my glasses (i never realized my astigmatsim that much before)...

    Yes the preowner sent it to to a optics repair shop in Germany for full restoration. They are completly clean inside, all lubrications have been changed and it was collimated. I guess they where outside already in good condition, at least on service Letter i found nothing about new painting or...

    Today my 10x40 Hartmann Compact gets the chance to smell fresh air. Spotting crows and doves on the roof top and waiting until gray herons will pass like every evening on their way a small island in a pond inside a park few minutes away.

    Today my Hartmann Porlerim 8x30 Weitwinkel got the chance to watch the common swifts (apus apus) which arrived two weeks ago. Last weeks I used mostly the 7x42 Bernina but for the swifts I prefer the wider FoV.
