    When do first nightingales arrive in Sussex?

    I checked for Kent last year and my first record last year was the 17th April, most first sightings were in that third week of April. I imagine Sussex would be similar. The Kent Nightingale Survey is due to start on the 27th April this year. Obviously favourable weather might mean the 8th is...

    It's possible but generally last week in April is safer.
