If you could not sell them on, I think some people (a minority, but some) would in fact prefer an EII over a NL, for some of the same reasons you prefer your 7x35s to modern roofs - especially if the latest coatings are as good as Brock says. The funny thing is, reading some of the comments above, I just don't get the hype about "3D". Maybe it's not apparent at my typical viewing distances, but even at closer distances I don't really see anything more intrinsically attractive about the view through a porro than a roof. If anything... -
