    Tried for the 1.0 Mio Bramblings the last few days…sigh. A morning visit to Klingnauersee. Wet and Cold.     Sigh…maybe next time…. Large flocks of Waxwings in UK…soon heading this way! Winter walk in local woods..some 25 Species including Middle Spotted Woodpecker, Siskins, Short toed tree creepers and Goldcrests. Best was a great troup (at least 20) of long tailed tits enjoying the moment.

    Some nice Winter birds reported recently: Red Phalarope at Rheindelta Ringed necked duck at Rolle Snow Bunting at Chasseron Pink footed Geese at Kemmental Greater Scaup at Les Grangettes Common Divers at several sites including Yvonand and Port de Bellerive Get out there!

    Interetsing find in Domat Ems…15 Northern Bald Ibis! Obviously escapees, however how can you lose 15! One ringed with number 676…anybody want to claim them!
