    Spent the morning and early afternoon around the Albufereta today. So different from my first visit 25 years ago :-) An Osprey up and down the reserve all morning and at least one Red Kite, but maybe more?     At the depuradora, s’Albufera late afternoon the Pratincoles were still present along with just 3 Whiskered Terns. No sign of yesterday's Garganey but a Cuckoo was new for me this week.

    From my balcony this morning I can see the Stork again in front of Cibollar 1. Purple Heron out there too.

    A question from a visiting birder... I'm sat on my hotel balcony which overlooks Albufera. There's a White Stork roosting on what I've always assumed was an Osprey platform (I've seen Ospreys around it in previous years). Are White Storks resident here?

    I'm sure more knowledgable people than I will comment but at the end of May, start of June 2019, I had good views of Tawny Pipit when parked at w3w location: ///nibbling.juggles.filmy looking NE. That was a cracking spot at the time and well worth a stop on the way to the observation platform...
