    Glad you got the lilifords. I really enjoyed seeing them on Cabrera. I ended up with much better views of moltonis (again on Cabrera) than Balearic but didn’t get close to photos of either

    When we were there a few weeks back there was a a lot of moustached warbler around the raised platform with Reed beds on both sides of the track just after the heronry.

    That one was by some steps near the Red Cross but the other 6 were in the blue circled area right by the lake edge Looked in the blue area for over an hour in clouds the other day with nothing so go when it’s sunny.

    Great day on Cabrera today despite some thunder. I think the weather probably helped with migrants. Had double figures of whinchat, half dozen yellow wags. Two pied fly, a few redstarts and a European spotted flycatcher all at the same time around the picnic area then a subalpine warbler later...

    Thanks. Sorry I missed mike’s post. That was the first place I tried as it did look likely and did the loop of the lagoon twice. I guess the drizzle was the issue. Hopefully I’ll get to try again

    Absolutely loving the flycatchers. They are everywhere. Had a nice walk around the wooded riverbank area that leads to pollenca harbour and couldn’t get over how confiding they are.
