    It seems the Meopta B1 42mm aren't that much more expensive than the 32mm so maybe that's why? Also on Zeiss speculation front, it occurred to me maybe they couldn't procure funding so perhaps they are the one's not in top financial shape (?? -- just a thought.

    I'm more curious what will be the fate of B2 in general as well as their price. In months leading up to the sale we saw them raise prices at the US website by a solid 30-40%. Maybe this was just a business tactic to make it look like they have recent strong sales to have leverage for the deal...

    Funny enough, I just logged in to comment on this. The meopta store website has increased prices by at least $200-300 The maven b.1 hd 15x60 used to be around $1650 in the store (and I think that may have included a small price increase/premium on the store outlet itself while being cheaper...
