    By the way: Leupold Yosemite is discontinued, but there are still Opticron Savannah and Kowa YF. It's obvious these three are optical clones, probably made in same factory.     I have had Leupold Yosemite 6x30 which is practically the same binocular. Super sharp on axis, excellent eye relief and very comfortable in the hand. While I understand the larger AFOV with 8x model gives a higher viewing enjoyment I still vote for 6x. The comfortable open view with eyeglasses...
